FREQ is a futuristic seinen manga project that fuses electronic music subcultures with sci-fi storytelling. Set in a society completely based on sound frequencies - from energy extraction to warfare technology. The series follows Akai and the rebellious Electribe in their fight against an oppressive regime that monopolizes sound frequency-based power systems (FREQ) and controls every aspect of daily life.

Created by Nicola Kazimir, who blends his deep knowledge of electronic music and anime culture into this manga, which is co-written with the legendary Dai Sato—famous for his work on Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and Ergo Proxy. The visuals are brought to life by mangaka Goodnewsforbadguys, whose love for electronic music and sci-fi perfectly matches the tone of the narrative, all supported by a skilled team of designers and production enthusiasts.
